Doodlers Anonymous

As I was doing research for our current Ticonderoga Pencil campaign I came across this really amazing website called Doodlers Anonymous. The blog style site was created by RISD graduates who are all working in the design field. The works are mostly by illustrators who are the creators friends as well as people from all over the world. The styles of the doodles vary greatly and it's really exciting to see different peoples' work. Enjoy!

great designer

Noma Bar is a man of few strokes. But don’t let the simplicity fool you. His talent lies in his efficiency in depicting characters and social issues. With bold colors, shapes and one or two icons he captures the spirit of a person. Other times he communicates a message on a social issue with amazing clarity while adding a bit of humor to everything. Whether the message is about violence or equality, his straight-forward visual approach is refreshing.

This is a great song by little dragon. I find it surreal and uplifting....enjoy.

not very commercial

this is a creepy yet beautiful commercial i came across for fuel tv

"true love will find you in the end." I'm inspired by that line...no matter how hard I search, what I love most usually finds me. Things I unintentionally stumble on, I enjoy most. In other words go with the flow and let things come to you.

Prada Spring 2010

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUzSR7i_Ee4

Prada is known for having innovative ads. This short film, "First Spring," was shot by Yang Fudong
to promote Prada's spring menswear. My imaging class was shown this and had mixed opinions about
a 9 minute ad but I think its a compelling way to break out of print and to make advertisements more artistic.

sorry if the link doesn't work
