Cuore by Pierpaolo Ferrari and Maurizio Cattelan. This piece was inspired by Milton Glaser's famous I heart NY for Ferrari and Cattelan's magazine Toilet Paper. Maurizio Cattelan is an Italian artist known for his satirical sculptures , which include pieces like The Ninth Hour which depicted Pope John Paul II being struck down by a meteorite and Not Afraid of Love which depicted an elephant in a Ku Klux Klan robe. Cattelan's retirement show begins on November 4th at the Guggenheim and allegedly many of his sculptures will hang from the ceiling of Frank Lloyd Wright's iconic viewing gallery.
